IS IT SPRING?
The mild days recently have had many wondering if spring may
be just around the corner. It has been a blessing to be able to walk outdoors
with no coat on and to enjoy the warm sun on the brow. It does not seem like it
has been a long, cold winter compared to most; however, the forecast calls for
some winter flakes soon.
It is good to be back among the staff and students of Vilas
Schools RE-5. The Christmas break was very restful and relaxing as we were able
to spend time with many family and friends. As always the snacking and big
meals with little or no exercise seems to catch up after a few weeks, which brings us all to the realization that a
sure New Yearfs Resolution always includes some sort of weight loss. I hope the
month of January was filled with plenty of exercise and healthy eating and
snacking.
As we look forward to the next few months of school
remaining, we have a great opportunity to make these days great ones for the
students and for our fellow workers. Although we will experience challenges
ahead, I believe that there are enough people among us who can come together
and work toward the goal of finishing strong and preparing each student for the
coming years of their educational journey.
I want to thank everyone for their continued support and
focus through the challenges we have already experienced and also the ones that
lie ahead. Strength comes in numbers. Are you among the strong?
